We’ve been waiting patiently to share this one with you! The home of Architect Nicholas Murray in Melbourne is an exciting piece of architecture to say the least. A master of marrying the new and the old, this is the Nick Murray house, for Nick Murray.

Organic and refined materials are used throughout this home. mafi features prominently in Oak Country Brushed Natural Oil adding warmth to the modern open plan living spaces. It is stunning and new, however the spaces inside feel welcoming and lived in – interior design at its finest.

The house façade retains the period features and gives the illusion of a modest cottage, however a close look down the hallway gives a glimpse to the modern extension which houses the open plan living area. At the back of the house, large windows are held together with striking black sail-like structures.

mafi on both the floors and walls makes for exciting spaces throughout the home. Intimate spaces are created through a series of windows and vistas into other areas.

Incredibly hard wearing, mafi retains its beauty into the kitchen and casual dining area. Any spills, stains or sticky fingers are cleaned up with mafi all natural Oil Soap.

Pushing the boundaries, mafi natural timber also features heavily throughout the bathrooms as both flooring and walling. The perfect warm and non slip floor for the kids to splash around on.
